October is like a decor tug of war for me. I want Halloween decor but I want Fall decor. I usually mix in a little of both and luckily November is full fledged Fall around here. 

During the last couple of weeks I've been participating in a fun Fall craft challenge on Instagram (#DIYItsFallOhMy) with several other talented creatives! So far I've created a fall centerpiece and a pumpkin spice coffee bar! This week, the theme is wreaths and banners. I'd never attempted making a wreath, so I decided to give it a try!

What You Need

• Grapevine Wreath ($1 Dollar Tree)

• Package of Faux Leaves 

• Wood Letter ($1.47 Walmart)

• Paint

• Foam Paint Brush

Start by choosing a monogram letter. Walmart carries the perfect sized wooden letters for under $2. I used some metallic craft paint I picked up during Target's holiday clearance last year and painted the letter. You could also cover it with paper of your choosing using mod podge.

A few months back, I had a lucky thrift find at Goodwill, a package of Crate & Barrel faux leaves for $.99. If you don't get that lucky, Dollar Tree also carries faux leaves.

Use a hot glue gun to arrange the leaves in layers on the wreath. 

When your monogram letter of choice is dry, glue it on top of the leaves.

There you have it! A festive fall wreath in 30 minutes or less!
